E-5 Blaster Rifle: -5 Skill. A standard-issue blaster of the OOM and B1 battle droids and the elite BX-series droid commando. The E-5 blaster rifle was a powerful, light, but somewhat inaccurate weapon. Base 100 Energy-type damage.
Vibroblade: +10 Speed. A deadly blade used for close-quarter combat. Highly effective in sneak attacks. Doubles damage when used with “Ambush“. Base 150 Slash-type damage.
3- Thermal Detonator: 1-2 range. A palm-sized, spherical device that contains an impressive explosive ordnance. This explosive will deal half damage to all adjacent spaces. Base 500 Explosion-type damage.
BX Commando Droid Chassis: A thick and durable set of Durasteel plates that protect the internals of the droid. Heavily reinforced around key vital areas, this armor provides ample protection without inhibiting mobility. Grants extreme resistance to Energy. Base 300 Armor
Advanced OOM-Droid OS Software: A technological breakthrough for droid technology. This software grants robotic units the option to independently act if the situation arises. The main benefit is the boost in all basic combat proficiencies and the removal of “Proficiency” interference; however, the proficiency level is hard capped and can never be increased further. This software can also be stolen and applied to other robotic units, with some tinkering.
Abilities:
Thermal Optics: BX Droid Commando Signature Ability. This unit can see a unit’s heat signature. This will negate any non-opaque visual barriers (smoke, fog, dust, etc.) and any debuffs that would come from them. Costs 4 exp
Smoke Screen: Once every 5 turns, this unit may use a subaction to deploy a smoke screen that will obscure view and provide cover. This smoke will expand 3 spaces from this unit. Any units inside will have +20 Avoid and -20 Skill while inside. Any units outside the smoke firing into the smoke will have -40 Hit. Lasts for 2 turns. Costs 5 exp
Ambush: If this character attacks a foe who was not alerted to their presence before the start of the phase, the strike will only hit once, but will deal 3x damage and ignore shields, force fields, and cannot be countered. 3 exp
Conceal Presence: This character may blend in easily with his environment, allowing them to sneak past the enemy. Enemy units will not detect this character until they are around 6 squares away (3 at night). 1 exp
Critical Strike: Once every 3 turns, this unit may strike through defense. This attack will ignore all defense and deal 3x damage. Critical attacks can only be done when certain prerequisites are met (Stun/Flinch, Freeze, Immobilize, Broken Posture, Guard Break, Sneak Attack, etc.). 4 exp
